Three Saints is a Mono Spaced Display Type Face, inspired by Santos Populares - famous festivities in Portugal in the month of June.
The streets are decorated with flowers, balloons, and lights. Popular music fills every corner, inviting even the biggest lead foot in the world to dance. There is no lack of assador (barbecue) at the doorstep, emanating the smell of grilled sardines, with caldo verde (green broth) and red wine or beer to accompany it.
After collecting 50 cans of sardines, I analyzed the graphic details of each one. Then I came up with the idea of removing the letters from each font and forming a peculiar but unique alphabet.The collection ranges from collector cans to supermarket cans.
